Support

We provide ongoing computer and network support services to clients of various sizes from single person offices to departmental networks of over 150 users. Many of our clients utilize us for help desk support to assist individual users with items like word processing, spreadsheet, or email questions. We provide training for applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). In particular, we have a knack for troubleshooting network and software problems and assisting our clients with implementing solutions. Although this user assistance can be provided on site at each client's office, or we usually are able to assist users via telephone and can provide "remote-control" support when necessary.

Consulting

Our consulting service ranges from advice on equipment and software purchases to selection of Internet access providers and best practices for networking. We have substantial experience in specifying, installing, and supporting various computer networks and connecting them to the Internet for shared application and email access. Do you have local computers networked together? We can provide anti-malware and computer monitoring to ensure that your systems are updated and protected. Do you have solid, reliable backups of your information? ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT? Should you consider cloud-based services? We can be your non-biased partner to help you review major purchases - with a NON-SALESPERSON perspective - from multiple vendors.

Emergency Services and Disaster Recovery

We also provide emergency support to clients who need to get a mission-critical system working again after a substantial failure. Some of these scenarios have included fixing and restoring a failed network server, emergency restoration of data from disk, tape, or cloud backups onto loaner equipment after a burglary, and quick repair and replacement of networking equipment after power surges during our stormy season. In advance of these problems occurring, we strongly recommend that all companies large and small review their computer backup procedures and implement a recovery plan.

Implementation

We work with a client's existing computer supplier, internet & telephone company, software provider, and/or cable wiring company to get things working together properly. We have assisted clients with telephone systems, building security and access systems, security camera systems, and HVAC and building environmental control systems. We have often worked as an intermediary between vendors, especially when a new system isn't working because of technology conflicts. Have you ever heard something like this from a vendor: "Sorry, your camera system isn't accessible from the Internet because of your router." GIVE US THE PROBLEM. We can work with ALL of your suppliers to cut through the technology and get things working for you.
